Product & methodology
- Is TraderGenie investment advice?
- No. TraderGenie is a decision-support tool. We surface data, strategies, and signals; you make the decisions. We are not a broker, fiduciary, or financial advisor.
- What does TraderGenie actually do?
- Every evening it runs proven strategies across thousands of symbols and ranks the results by conviction. You get daily picks, each carrying the data behind it — backtest, walk-forward trust label, sector context — so you can weigh it yourself.
- What is the “auditable pick funnel”?
- A multi-stage pipeline that takes the whole universe down to a ranked shortlist, and logs a measurable reason for every name it drops. No black box — you can see exactly why something didn't make the cut.
- What does “walk-forward validated” mean?
- We split a strategy's history into train and test windows and check it holds up on data it never saw, with false-discovery-rate correction so a fluke doesn't read as an edge. Each strategy shows a trust label — validated, caution, likely-overfit, or insufficient-data when there isn't enough evidence yet.
- Can I build my own strategies?
- Yes. Describe a strategy in plain English and Genie drafts working code you can backtest and deploy — no Pine Script, no hand-coding required. Power users can edit the Python directly.
Pricing & tokens
- Do I need a subscription?
- No. There's no monthly plan to pick. You buy tokens and spend them on the work you run — that's the whole model.
- What does a token cost?
- Tokens are priced per unit of compute — light reads cost almost nothing, heavy runs cost more. We're finalising the per-token price during beta; your free starter grant covers real exploration in the meantime.
- Will I keep my data if I run out of tokens?
- Yes. Your watchlists, alerts, scripts, and history stay with you regardless of token balance. You only spend tokens to run new compute.
- Do early users get a better deal?
- Beta participants get advance notice before pricing locks — and a standing discount. We won't forget who showed up early.
- How do refunds and billing work?
- Refund and token-expiry terms will be published with checkout. Any billing question, email [email protected] and a human answers.
Data & coverage
- What's the data source?
- Reliable end-of-day market data from established providers, news from a curated source pool, and aggregated social sentiment from major retail-investor communities. Signals are computed by our own pipeline.
- Which markets do you cover?
- US, UK, Oslo, and Xetra — thousands of symbols scanned daily, with more markets on the roadmap.
- How fresh is the data?
- Signals recompute nightly on end-of-day bars. The app is honest about freshness — if something is stale or still warming up, it tells you, rather than showing a confident number it can't stand behind.
Access & tooling
- When will I be invited off the waitlist?
- Public launch is late summer 2026. Early-waitlist subscribers get invited progressively before then — we pace it so the platform stays fast and the signals stay sharp.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. TraderGenie runs in your browser. If you want, you can also reach it from your AI editor over MCP — but that's optional.
- Can I use it from Claude or Cursor?
- Yes. TraderGenie is MCP-native: 100+ tools are usable from Claude Code, Cursor, or Claude Desktop with a single command, no install.
Privacy & security
- Do you sell my data?
- Never. No ads, no data brokers, no trackers. A single session cookie when you're signed in. That's it.
- Is my account secure?
- Your data is isolated to your account, queries are scoped per user, and we follow standard authentication and transport security. We never log secrets or share your watchlists.
